The Technical Assistance Program (TAP) provides short and long-term assistance to
nonprofit organizations that provide a variety of arts and culture programs and services
to the public. These organizations range from the museums and institutions in Balboa
Park, to community-based theaters and dance companies, to chambers of commerce
and business improvement associations. TAP core services help existing and
potential contractors maintain their competitive edge by providing referrals,
ongoing individual consultations and group trainings. Staff provides over 300 hours of
group trainings to prospective applicants yearly.
